Merchant Services & Legal Disclosure
Effective Date: October 1, 2026
Shoreline Payments’ Role
Shoreline Payments, LLC is an independent merchant-services sales and referral company.
Shoreline assists merchants and referral partners in identifying potential payment-service solutions and may facilitate introductions, applications, documentation, provider communications, underwriting coordination, onboarding, and ongoing support.
Shoreline Payments is not a bank, card network, or acquiring bank.
Payment processing, acquiring, ACH, settlement, banking, gateway, equipment, and related services may be provided by independent third-party financial institutions and service providers.
Merchant Underwriting and Approval
Submission of information to Shoreline does not constitute approval and does not establish a merchant account.
Merchant accounts and payment services may be subject to:
- provider eligibility requirements;
- identity verification;
- underwriting;
- risk and fraud review;
- compliance review;
- applicable laws and regulations;
- card-network and payment-network rules;
- acquiring or sponsor-bank requirements;
- geographic restrictions;
- industry restrictions; and
- applicable provider policies.
Shoreline may assist with and coordinate portions of this process, but final approval and provider-specific account terms are determined by the applicable provider and/or financial institution.
Rates, Fees and Commercial Terms
Information appearing on Shoreline’s website is not a binding quote unless expressly stated in an applicable written agreement.
Processing rates, transaction fees, monthly fees, reserves, processing limits, settlement schedules, chargeback terms, equipment terms, gateway charges, termination provisions, and other commercial conditions may vary by merchant and provider.
The merchant should review the applicable provider agreement before accepting services.
The terms contained in an executed provider agreement control the provider’s services.
No Guarantee of Approval
Shoreline does not guarantee that a merchant will:
- be approved;
- qualify for a particular provider;
- receive a particular processing rate;
- avoid a reserve requirement;
- receive a particular processing limit;
- receive settlement within a particular period;
- receive particular equipment;
- remain continuously eligible for a particular provider; or
- obtain any other specific underwriting outcome.
Higher-Risk Merchants
Shoreline maintains relationships that may permit it to assist businesses whose industries, processing models, transaction characteristics, history, or other factors cause payment providers to classify them as higher risk.
Availability of higher-risk merchant solutions is subject to applicable law, provider policies, underwriting, compliance requirements, card-network and payment-network rules, and acquiring or sponsor-bank requirements.
Not every business or industry is eligible for processing.
Shoreline does not determine, on behalf of every provider, whether a merchant qualifies for a particular risk classification.
ACH Services
ACH-related services may be made available through third-party providers and financial institutions.
Shoreline is not representing itself through this website as an originating depository financial institution, ACH network operator, or bank.
ACH services are subject to applicable provider agreements, financial-institution requirements, network rules, risk policies, underwriting, and applicable law.
Canadian, International and Specialty Solutions
Certain Canadian, international, specialty, or other payment solutions may be available through Shoreline’s third-party provider relationships.
Availability depends upon the merchant, provider, jurisdiction, business model, applicable law, underwriting, compliance requirements, and provider policies.
References to availability should not be interpreted as a guarantee that a particular merchant or business model will qualify.
Digital Asset and Cryptocurrency-Related Businesses
Shoreline may maintain provider relationships capable of considering certain businesses operating in or around digital assets or cryptocurrency.
Shoreline does not itself provide cryptocurrency, exchange, custody, investment, or digital-asset financial services merely by assisting a merchant in identifying payment-service providers.
Availability of payment services for such businesses depends upon applicable law, jurisdiction, provider eligibility, underwriting, compliance review, and financial-institution requirements.
Nothing on Shoreline’s website constitutes investment, securities, tax, or legal advice.
Third-Party Providers
Third-party providers operate under their own agreements, privacy practices, underwriting standards, security practices, policies, and legal obligations.
A merchant may be required to enter into one or more agreements directly with those providers.
Shoreline’s website Terms of Use do not replace those agreements.
Trademarks
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and other third-party names, marks, products, and logos are the property of their respective owners.
References to third parties, where made, are for identification or informational purposes and do not imply sponsorship, endorsement, ownership, or affiliation beyond an actual relationship expressly identified by Shoreline.
No Financial or Legal Advice
Information provided by Shoreline regarding merchant services is intended to assist businesses in evaluating potential payment-service options.
Nothing on the website constitutes legal, tax, investment, accounting, or other professional advice.
Businesses are responsible for determining the legal and regulatory requirements applicable to their operations.
Provider Agreements Control
Where a merchant enters into an agreement with a processor, bank, ACH provider, merchant-service provider, equipment provider, gateway provider, or other third party, the applicable provider agreement governs that service.
Nothing contained on shorelinepay.com or preapp.shorelinepay.com modifies a separately executed provider agreement unless expressly agreed in writing by the parties authorized to modify that agreement.
